Featured gemstone

Tanzanite

This 8.67ct. oval tanzanite is an excellent stone. . . yes the colour and clarity is excellent, but it’s the cutting that really grabs you . . . it was cut from a much deeper stone and the end result is a very high grade tanzanite with premium proportions and large precision facets, you simply couldn’t get much better than this. Combine all of this with the currently favourable tanzanite prices and you have a outstanding stone at a great price.

New Ruby Range

We have just returned from a major buying trip to Thailand with the primary objective of buying ruby and we are now in the process of filming and photographing the brand new stones. Ranging from hundreds of perfect little diamond-cuts, excellent 6x4mm ovals, hard-to-get emerald cuts all the way up to magnificent individual Burmese beauties. A large selection has been added to the ruby page of the website with many more to follow in the coming weeks.

Staff Favourites

We have a new and interesting little feature of the website . . . Staff Favourites . . .these are stones that have a certain quality that cause regular conversations in the office and create ‘a bit of a buzz’ around them. Not necessarily very high-end &/or expensive stones, but perhaps ones of a particularly rare colour tone, unusual cut or maybe just something special you can’t quite explain. The gemstones posted in this section will be kept to a select few and updated regularly, so it will be worth keeping eye on it if you’re looking for something special.
